Review Policy:

Thank you for your interest in Hashtag GeekBoy Books, and for taking the time to read my review policy!

My primary genres are young adult/new adult fantasy, science-fiction, manga, and graphic novels to include comic books. However I will review other young and new adult genres, in both the contemporary and speculative fiction subgenres. I do not read non-fiction, erotica, religious or self-published novels. I try to only accept novels that I believe I will enjoy; however, I cannot absolutely guarantee a favorable review, but I will offer constructive criticism. I will express my honest opinion and I do not receive or accept any compensation for my reviews.

Any commission I receive through affiliate programs (i.e. Amazon, BAM and Barnes & Noble) will go toward running this site.  I will always make a note in my review when I have received a review copy or ARC of the novel I'm discussing. I cannot guarantee a time frame on reviews unless the author/publisher has discussed it with me before I accept the novel. I try to review the books I receive as quickly as possible, and I will do my absolute best to post ARC reviews in the month surrounding the release. I share my reviews on Goodreads, Book-a-Million, Barnes & Noble and Amazon. I will gladly honor requests from authors/publishers to post my review to other bookseller venues. I am unable to accept review requests via Twitter, Facebook, Goodreads or any other social media. If you would like me to review your book or host you for an author post, please email me. For legal and logistical reasons, please do not attach unsolicited ebooks to your request email.
