About Geek Boy

My name is Jason. And there is something you should know about me. I am a Magic: The Gathering and RPG (role playing gamer) enthusiast, a video game addict, a devoted collector of all that is geeky but best of all, a some what monomaniac reader (without all the mental issues of obsession). Though my girlfriend would totally argue about the metal issues thing... maybe you have heard of her Geek Girl aka Carolyn aka the most wonderful girlfriend ever (hey a man has got to try, she let's me keep all my geek stuff in the house).

I’ve enjoyed reading since the age of 14 when I came across a D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) Player's Handbook. Now not only do I enjoy D&D, I also play World of WarCraft, Hero Clix, and more than everything MTG (Magic). Because of my passion for reading, I have enjoyed the workings of all that is geeky to include an assortment of unusual reading material. Some of my favorite old time reads are The Hobbit (of course, add in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy with that), The Advanced D&D Dungeon Master Guide, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Ender's Game, and Neuromancer. Some of the newer favorites I have are (of course) Ready Player One, Steelheart, Game of Thrones, and The Harry Potter Series. I also have a wide collection of comics to include Superman, X-Men, Wonder Woman, Dare Devil, TMNT, Batman, Mouse Guard, Iron Man, Lady Mechanika, Thor, and the list goes on and on and on. The list even includes some of the manga series that I have collected to includes Fairy Tail, Naruto, Soul Catchers and The Gamer. Though I could continues listing all the fun and exciting reads that I have enjoyed, I think it is time to go.
