Stacking the Shelves: (1)

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks!

If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the Tynga's Reviews official launch page!

Note from Geek Boy:
So as many of you already know Geek Girl is my wonderful and amazing Girlfriend and has a GF Book Blog as well (sort of like a brother/sister page). Even though we may have the some of the same books on our Stacking the Shelves it is due to the fact that we got two copies, one to add to my book case and one to add to hers. Our shelves are separate because no matter how much I love her, she won't let me touch her BOOKS!!! (lol)

I found this copy on the bargain shelf at Books a Million. They always have great deals and I enjoy going to my local one. I read it immediately after I got it on Sunday and there is already a review up on my main page. I truly thought the book was amazing.

I found this copy on the bargain shelf  right next to The Paladin Prophecy at Books a Million. I had already bought the first one might as well right. I mean it was less than $4 really. Both Books for less the $7. I just couldn't go wrong getting both at the same time.

On the first Saturday of May every year is Free Comic Book Day and my family really enjoys going. Of course with a house full of geeks and boys it is a must. This year they had the illustrators and creator of this comic there and we of course had to get our copy signed after standing 2 1/2 hours in line. But totally worth it.

  5. Nice haul, GeekBoy :) And it's cute that you're both having mirroring blogs about books. And I totally understand that she won't let you touch her books! That's just normal, and love has nothing to do with it.

I think I need to add The Way of Shadows to my own shelves, it looks great! Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  6. I have Novice, but I haven't read it yet. I haven't read any books by Sanderson, but my son loved Stealheart and The Rithmatist. I also love fantasy so I can't wait to see what you think about these. Happy reading!
